The Bently Nevada 3500/65 is a series of temperature monitors that provide 16 channels of temperature monitoring. They accept inputs from various types of temperature sensors such as resistance temperature detectors (RTD) and thermocouples (TC). The modules condition these inputs and compare them against user-programmable alarm setpoints .

To use the Bently Nevada 3500/65, you need to configure it using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. Different I/O modules are available, including non-isolated and isolated versions for RTD/TC inputs. The non-isolated version can accept a mixture of TC and RTD inputs, while the isolated version provides channel-to-channel isolation to protect against external interference. When used in a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) configuration, the temperature monitors must be installed adjacent to each other in groups of three to ensure accurate operation and avoid single-point failures .

voting to ensure accurate operation and to avoid singlepoint failures.
