The Avis Triconex 3721 analog input module is designed specifically for Triconex Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). The Triconex system is renowned for its high reliability and is widely used in industries where safety critical operations cannot fail, such as the oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation industries.

· Run under TMR configuration to ensure critical safety functions are maintained even in the event of a module failure. This redundancy is achieved by using three identical modules, each module performing the same function. Only a majority vote in three modules determines the final output, providing a high level of reliability.

· Includes three independent analog input channels. Each channel is capable of receiving variable voltage signals from sensors or other field devices, converting these analog signals into digital values, and transmitting these values to the Triconex processor as required.

· The design includes continuous diagnosis for each channel. If a fault is detected on any channel, the module's fault indicator light will be activated to alert the operator to the issue. Importantly, the module can continue to operate normally even with up to two faulty channels, highlighting its strong fault tolerance capability.

· The size is 16cm x 16cm x 12cm, and the weight is 0.8kg, which is compact enough to be installed in the narrow space inside the Triconex chassis.
