The GE URRHH is a power supply module designed for installation in the Universal Relays series. The module can be ordered in two voltage ranges and can include or exclude a redundant power option. The Low Range (LO) functions at 24 to 48 V nominal (DC only) while the High Range (HI) functions at 125 to 250 V nominal (DC and AC). The power supply module is capable of providing power to the relay and also supplying power to dry contact input connections. The internal fuse rating for this power supply module is 4A / 250 V. The health of the power supply module can be automatically assessed by the relay’s self-testing elements. [1]
To calculate the CRC for GE UR6CH, UR8LH, and URRHH, the basic steps are to multiply the number of bits in the CRC by the data bits that make up the message, then divide the resulting product by the generating polynomial (using modulo 2, without carry). The CRC is the remainder of this division. The generating polynomial can be any length and contain any pattern of 1s and 0s as long as both the transmitter and receiver use the same values. However, standard generating polynomials have been developed to achieve optimal error detection. The RTU protocol uses a polynomial that is 16 bits long and generates a CRC known as CRC-16.
