The CB03550 industrial motor drive is one of the latest and most sophisticated devices designed by Kollmorgen to facilitate industrial production by carrying out accurate automation control in the industrial servo system. This device is a state-of-the-art device that is widely known for its ability to control synchronous and induction motors to operate over a speed range; the unique technological features of this controller make it perfectly suited for advanced industrial operations such a robotic, assembly, textile, and food processing operation. The CB03550 industrial also features a durable housing unit the meets the IP20 protection class; this housing unit can effectively protect the internal components of the controller from foreign solid particles larger than 12 millimeters; however, it offers no protection against liquid substances; thus, it is important for operator to install the drive in an additional control cabinet that meets at least the IP54 protection class.

The electrical cables required by the CB03550 industrial motor drive for operation are divided into two main categories; the power cable and the motor feedback cable. The power cable provides the servo motor with the electrical current it requires for optimum operation, the motor feedback cable, on the other hand, helps in the exchange of digital signals between the controller and the encoder of the motor, operators should ensure the cable used with this device are well shielded and meet the international quality standards.

The permissible ambient temperature range for the operation of this industrial controller fall between 0 to 40 degree Celsius, however, if the controller is not required for immediate operation, the it can be stored in an ambient temperature that falls between -25 to +75 degree Celsius.
