NI SCXI-1000 modular

The SCXI-1000 is a chassis for SCXI modules that handles all timing, trigger, and signal routing between other modules and SCXI modules. It is a rugged, low-noise chassis that offers seven different power options to match your country's power and can be reconfigured for use in other countries. For larger systems or future expansion, up to eight SCXI-1000 chassis can be daisy-chained with a single multifunction I/O device or module for high-channel-count applications. The user can arrange the SCXI-1000 for one of 32 distinct addresses, and the chassis address is the whole of the switch values. The NI SCXI-1000 drivers are NI-SWITCH and NI-DAQ 7. If a module is removed while the NI SCXI-1000 Chassis is powered on, it may result in blowing a fuse because the SCXI modules are not hot-swappable. 

In multiplexed mode, Analog Input (AI) channels are multiplexed into one module output, so the cabled E/M Series DAQ gadget approaches the multiplexed output of the module and the outputs of all other multiplexed modules in the case. In parallel mode, the user requires a different E/M Series DAQ gadget for every module to send each of its output channels specifically to a different AI channel of the E/M Series DAQ gadget associated with the module. The SCXI-1000 National Instruments can work with line voltages of 100, 120, 220, and 240 VAC. The maximum operating current of the SCXI-1000 National Instruments is 0.6 A at 100 VAC, 0.5 A at 120 VAC, or 0.25 A at 220 or 240 VAC. SCXI-1000 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the chassis will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
