The ABB PM876 is a high-performance controller equipped with a high-performance processor that supports fast data processing and algorithm execution, making it suitable for high-speed control systems. Usually equipped with multiple communication interfaces, such as Ethernet, Profibus DP electrical interface, and fiber optic interface, to facilitate data exchange with other devices and systems. Support redundant settings, reduce failure points, and improve the stability and reliability of system operation.

Controller level communication can be achieved through Ethernet interfaces, and two Ethernet ports can be set as redundant with built-in redundant switching programs to further enhance system reliability.

The modular design allows PM876 to be flexibly configured and expanded according to different application requirements.

Support the expansion of 12 fieldbus modules to meet control requirements of different scales and complexities. The CPU board integrates a power supply unit, CPU processor, and memory, supporting up to 16 tasks with a task cycle of up to 1ms and a resolution of<1ms for SOE sequential events. Memory is used to store firmware, control unit hardware configuration information, and application programs, ensuring data integrity and continuous system operation. If any input channel will accept input from a mechanical switch, the controller can set a flow meter jumper for filtering operations, provide anti jitter function, and ensure the accuracy and stability of the input signal.
