PM861A 3BSE018158R1 is a CPU unit module model in ABB's AC800M control system.

As part of the AC800M control system, PM861A 3BSE018158R1 has high reliability and flexibility, and can support multiple communication protocols such as MasterBus 300, COMLI, Modbus, and Siemens 3964R to facilitate communication with other controllers, automation systems, and field devices.

It supports two working modes of redundancy and non redundancy, as well as two communication service modes of client/server. As a client service, it can achieve communication between controllers and with engineering station software.

The controller supports additional serial communication protocols and is suitable for communicating with external devices such as terminals, printers, and special controllers.

AC800M and related modules are installed using DIN rail style, and each module consists of a detachable unit and an interconnected base. The base realizes external connections between modules, including power supply and communication.
