VMIVME-2170A is a model of digital output board that is part of the General Electric Fanuc Automation VMIC series digital converters, input/output units, and other circuit boards. The board is equipped with a set of optical couplers, which have multiple functions and characteristics.

Firstly, the VMIVME-2170A module framework includes 32 optical isolated outputs, allowing each output to be electrically isolated from other outputs and the VMEbus module. This isolation design ensures the stability and security of data transmission, effectively preventing mutual interference between channels.

Secondly, the output current range of the module is between 2.5 and 300 milliamperes, providing a wide range of output capabilities. In addition, it is equipped with on-site configurable pull-up resistors and other components, allowing users to flexibly configure according to their actual needs.

VMIVME-2170A adopts a dual Eurocard shape factor PC board, which can provide necessary address decoding and data transmission control logic. It not only accepts 8-bit and 16 bit data transmission, but also supports two types of data transmission: monitoring data and non privileged data. This flexibility enables VMIVME-2170A to adapt to different application scenarios and data transmission needs.

In addition to the above functional features, VMIVME-2170A also operates with 32-bit processing power, has optical isolation function, and is specifically designed and optimized for VMEbus.
